Collaborro Collaborro

For musicians & producers

Split sheets that actually get signed.

Collaborro documents the split on a track — writers, producers, features, topline — and gets every collaborator to confirm it through a private link before the record locks.

Composition and master are separate agreements; you can record each as its own split.

The split conversation, while the memory is fresh

You finish the track and everyone agrees the split is obvious. Weeks later, when it is doing numbers, "obvious" has drifted. Collaborro is a five-minute process to write it down in the room: each contributor, what they brought — beat, lyrics, topline, mix — and their percentage.

One link per collaborator, no accounts

Session players and co-writers get a private link by email. They see the whole split, then confirm or flag it. Nobody signs up for anything. When the last person confirms, the split locks and everyone gets a signed PDF with a reference number.

It is a record, not a publishing deal

Collaborro does not register anything with a PRO, collect royalties, or move money. It produces clear evidence of what the writers agreed, which is exactly what you want in hand when you do set up publishing or splits with a distributor.

Common questions

Can I do separate splits for the song and the recording?

Yes. Create one split for the composition and another for the master. Each has its own contributors and percentages and locks independently.

What about a featured artist added later?

While the split is still pending you can add them and re-send. Once it is locked it cannot change — you would create a new split for the new version.

Does this replace registering with a PRO?

No. It is a documented agreement between the writers. You still register with your PRO and set up publishing separately — this is the record of what was agreed.

Do all collaborators need Collaborro accounts?

Only you. Everyone else confirms through their email link.
